Tune-In to GBM in May to Raise Brain Tumor Awareness

You can help advance the fight
against brain cancer

May is National Brain Tumor Awareness Month.

Approximately 20,000 new cases of primary, malignant brain and other nervous system cancers are expected to be diagnosed in 20141. Glioblastoma (also called glioblastoma multiforme or GBM) is the most common and deadly form of primary brain tumor2. Approximately 10,000 cases of GBM are diagnosed in the United States each year— about 3.2 out of every 100,000 people3. GBM is more common in older individuals, and more likely to affect men than women.4

Tune-In to GBM is an awareness and education campaign sponsored by Novocure. It invites people to show their support and engage with others who have been affected by brain cancer by using the #TuneIn2GBM hashtag in their social media updates to show support for brain cancer patients by “Tuning-In” during Brain Tumor Awareness Month. Novocure is pleased to partner with four non-profit organizations, dedicated to supporting brain cancer patients and their families, to raise awareness about GBM. Novocure is proud to support each of these organizations in their efforts to spread brain cancer awareness and education.
